Biocube”, the unique multi-factor Identity platform, added the new ‘Desktop/ Laptop based interoperable biometric authentication module’ along with its existing mobile/tablet-based solution, yesterday, March 3, 2022, for the services it is providing for the PM Daksh Scheme of Govt. of India, which would help the users registered with Ministry of Social Justice, to leverage the true power of Multi-factor & Multi-modal biometric authentication capabilities of Biocube.
Using the new desktop/laptop-based application, the students/staff at the training centers will be able to register their facial biometrics authentication. The users can also mark their attendance through face-auth on the laptop/ desktop application, in both Offline & Online modes, even when they are originally registered through the mobile/ tab application, due to the interoperable nature of the Biocube identity platform. The desktop version has been first implemented at the Indore Centre of MOSJ, where they have approximately 211+ numbers of trainees/staff. The Biocube client support team imparted training to the respective team for a seamless registration process through the new desktop version. Biocube’s project with Govt. of India’s PM Daksh scheme, with the Yaksh Mobile App, is running successfully since August 2021 in more than 350+ training centers across India, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MOSJ).
This has resulted from the ministry having a transparent & tamperproof attendance management & benefit distribution decision AI system, without the use of any specialized hardware like fingerprint scanner etc.
With Biocube Multi-factor & Multimodal AI-based biometric authentication, the users will be able to complete a one-time profile and facial biometrics registration using their own mobile or a centralized system (tablet, laptop or desktop) at the Training Centers, linked to their verified Aadhaar and then can mark their attendance through face-auth on any of the devices. The best part is that the authentication can be done on devices without any internet connection also, thus making the solution compatible with all kinds of working environments and catering to the real-life challenges of using biometric-based solutions in today’s world.

MOSJ Launched The PM-DAKSH Portal And Mobile App Powered by Biocube Technologies
Earlier on August 7th, 2021, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment launched the PM Daksh Portal and Mobile Application provided by Biocube, as part of the Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi (PM-DAKSH) scheme, which provides Short-term, Long- term, Up-Skilling/Reskilling, Entrepreneurship Development Program among the skill development training programs available to eligible target groups. These training programs are implemented by Government training institutes, sector skill councils, and other competent organizations established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
